Books are the best break from reality.

A method of surviving life.

Fiction has always been a huge part of Cath's life and is the reason she is still alive today. Cath has been reading since she was a baby and started writing in middle school when her English teacher gave the students a free-write once a week. After that first free-write in middle school, writing has been a huge part of Cath's life. Whether that be through journaling, fiction writing, or even essays, Cath is always writing or thinking about writing.

Both writing and reading have had a strong influence on Cath's mental health in a positive way. They help her process life in a way that she can understand and work with. They also give her a little break from reality. 

​

Through this blog, Cath intends to give others a break from reality and show how fiction can influence their lives. So grab a pen, a book, and some tea and join Cath on her journey of life through the eyes of fiction.
